Tim Edey and Brendan Power back at the Westgate Hall, with Luke Jackson

Wonderful news! After their magical concert at the Westgate Hall last May, Tim Edey and Brendan Power are coming back to the Westgate Hall on the 3rd of February to help raise funds for the refurbishment of the Hall.

Local and national Folk heroes Tim and Brendan are the undisputed masters of the instruments they play, the current BBC RADIO TWO “Best duo” of 2012 at the BBC FOLK AWARDS, Brendan is recognised worldwide as an authority and guru of the Harmonica and won the SPA Best harmonica player of year in the USA. Tim is the BBC RADIO TWO “Best musician” of 2012 and they have a cult following in the folk and acoustic music world.

Doors open at 7pm, with a guest performance by Luke Jackson.  Luke is an up-and-coming folk singer/songwriter from Canterbury who’s been nominated for two categories in the 2013 Folk Awards.

Tim and Brendan will start at 8.

CDs by Tim and Brendan and their “Live in Canterbury” DVD (filmed at the Westgate Hall in May, you can see a sampler here http://vimeo.com/45137792) will be available to buy (with a 10% donation to the Westgate Hall refurbishment fund).
